What to expect as a visitor

Does it matter what I wear? Whether you're dressed like John the Baptizer or R.C. Sproul, you will be warmly welcomed to a seat of honor in the presence of the King of Kings.

How different will the worship service seem to me? The gathering of this body has one clear purpose: to glorify God and enjoy Him together. Hopefully it will seem simple, loaded with scripture, and Christ-exalting. You will not be impressed by a shown of talent. We trust God to do the heavy lifting. We humbly rest in Christ. The Holy Spirit makes His disciples joyful participants throughout. If our gathering and worship seem different than this world in a God-pleasing way, then this is all of His grace. (Here is a Sample Order Of Worship.)

What if I'm not sure whether I'm a Christian? If you don’t know Jesus, this is where you need to be. You will be surrounded by saved sinners. Listen for how lovely God is in the gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem wretches like us.

Are there other opportunities for growth? Yes! We have two elder-led Bible studies mid-week once per month in homes, one elder-led men's group that meet midweek to study a Book of the Bible, another that meets midweek to walk through theology systematically, a women's study that meets monthly to study the Second London Confession of Faith, and other Bible studies that are self-organized, in communication with our elder(s). We'd love to hear your interests and help accommodate to your availability to grow in the Lord together.

What if I am a Christian but don't have any background in this type of church? If you do love Jesus already, you will be with family. We invite you to participate joyfully in each element: hear God’s word, sing gospel truth, pray, confess, and respond to His law and gospel; let Him transform you.

When should I arrive? You are very welcome to join us for prayer at 9:30 a.m., be part of the Bible study, enjoy the worship service, eat lunch together, and continue to fellowship until they close the building at 2 p.m. On the other hand, we also completely understand if you simply come for the worship service at 10:45 a.m., and leave right after it around 12:15 p.m.

How do you handle baptism and The Lord's Supper? What a weighty and glorious privilege to steward the gospel (1 Cor. 4:1) in these ways. Please learn how HERE (under the Order tab).
